“We are Jules, Anto, Gaia and Elio”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Girotondo SRL is the culmination of all our hopes, dreams and bonkers ideas. Who are we? Julia and Antonio Pisan\u00f2, wife and husband duo with our young children Gaia and Elio. Together with our partners and collaborators such as CAIRE Consorzio, Politecnico di Milano, Parco Nazionale dell’Appenino Tosco Emiliano, Confcooperative, Emilbanca and UNCEM among others, we are building a new sustainable lifestyle here in the Apennines.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anto and I both come from a construction background, we met in the Houses of Parliament in London during an event for a focus group for the improvement of the construction industry \u201cConstructing Excellence\u201d<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our relationship and life objectives have only grown from there. Anto together with his Business Partner Lorenzo Baldini already had a successful architectural practice based in London called Marcel Mauer Architecture, launched in 2011, which since we moved to Italy has grown and been incorporated Consorzio Caire<\/a> which is Reggio Emilia, Italy. In 2016 we launched our own low-carbon adventure holiday organisation not-for-profit ZeCrew Low Carbon Adventures<\/a> and in 2018 I launched a successful London based startup called SpaceUp<\/a> focussed on regenerative retrofit and co-living. After COVID struck in 2020 Anto and I (heavily pregnant at the time) decided to move to Italy and we found a beautiful, wild location surrounded on all sides by a UNESCO heritage national park.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We purchased and refurbished a 1950s hotel and we are now hosting strategic corporate retreats, group events, design workshops and classes based on wellness, sustainability and biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a 100 sqm hall, sunset roof terrace, upcycling workshop and permaculture gardens and we have plans for a aquaponics system for self-production of veg and fish, a hot tub and naturally filtered swimming pool and biodome greenhouse as well as sauna in the next year of investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our plans are always growing; our co-designed products using recycled and reused materials continue to evolve; the events that we co-host continue to improve and we can\u2019t wait to co-create something magnificent together with you!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Girotondo SRL \u00e8 il culmine di tutte le nostre speranze, i nostri sogni e le nostre idee pi\u00f9 visionarie. Chi siamo? Julia e Antonio Pisan\u00f2, marito e moglie, con i nostri figli piccoli Gaia ed Elio. Insieme ai nostri partner e collaboratori come il Politecnico di Milano, il Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino Tosco Emiliano, Confcooperative, Emilbanca, UNCEM e altri, stiamo costruendo un nuovo stile di vita sostenibile qui in Appennino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Io e Anto proveniamo entrambi dal settore di costruzioni, edilizia ed infrastrutture. Ci siamo conosciuti alla Camera dei Comuni di Londra durante un evento per un focus group sul miglioramento del settore edile di “Constructing Excellence”. Da l\u00ec, il nostro rapporto e i nostri obiettivi di vita sono cresciuti. Anto, insieme al suo socio Lorenzo Baldini, gestiva gi\u00e0 un affermato studio di architettura a Londra, Marcel Mauer Architecture, fondato nel 2011. Da quando ci siamo trasferiti in Italia, lo studio \u00e8 cresciuto ed \u00e8 stato incorporato in Consorzio Caire, con sede a Reggio Emilia. Nel 2016 abbiamo lanciato la nostra agenzia di vacanze-avventura a basso impatto ambientale no-profit ZeCrew Low Carbon Adventures e nel 2018 ho lanciato una startup di successo con sede a Londra, SpaceUp, focalizzata sulla riqualificazione energetica e sul co-living. Dopo l’arrivo del COVID nel 2020, Anto ed io (all’epoca incinta) abbiamo deciso di trasferirci in Italia e abbiamo trovato, vicino a Reggio Emilia e Milano, una posizione meravigliosa, selvaggia e circondata da un parco nazionale patrimonio dell’UNESCO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abbiamo acquistato e ristrutturato un hotel degli anni \u201950, in cui ora ospitiamo eventi ritiri aziendali strategici, eventi di gruppo, workshop di design e corsi basati su benessere, sostenibilit\u00e0 e biodiversit\u00e0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disponiamo di una sala da 100 mq, una terrazza panoramica al tramonto, un laboratorio di upcycling e orti in permacultura. Abbiamo in programma nel prossimo anno la realizzazione di un impianto di coltura acquaponica per autoproduzione di verdure e pesce, una jacuzzi all’aperto, una piscina naturale filtrata, una serra “bidone” e una sauna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I nostri progetti sono in continua evoluzione: i prodotti che co-progettiamo con materiali riciclati e riutilizzati si sviluppano costantemente; gli eventi che co-organizziamo migliorano di anno in anno, e non vediamo l\u2019ora di co-creare qualcosa di magnifico insieme a te!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
